| Trucks. I too have loved trucks all my life. My family always had a truck in some form; pick-ups, Ranchero, a white Ford van with windows all around and a manual choke that made my father look so talented! However, most of my car life I have had to buy economy cars. Not complaining though. I would turn these efficient little models into RVs anyway. I carried hay in my Honda. I put a Class 1 hitch on my Escort station wagon and put a 4 x 6 utility trailer on the back. I used this trailer mostly for bike camping, putting the bikes in the trailer on fork mounts, and camping gear in the back of the wagon. After years of economizing I have finally come to the point of indulgence! I have purchased the vehicle I _really_ want! A Nissan Xterra! The yellow one. Now that is FUN! I put a Class 3 hitch on it so I can carry just about anything I want. Here are some images for you to click on. |
