well that sucks for sure

back when I had a hard line phone, I would get the telemarketers calling & trying to sell me on basement waterproofing, they would stutter and stammer when I laid this line on them .......

"there is 32 tons of clean washed stone with 25 bales of straw scattered on top of that and drain pipes under the stone surrounding my basement and add to that I live 962 feet above sea level, if I get water in my basement you are going to need Noah and his ark long before I will ....... "


Digger, don't forget the garden sprayer and a 50/50 mix of water & chlorine bleach, spray quite liberally on the floor and the bottom edges of the walls to prevent mold (you may have to remove a few feet of the drywall sheeting on the bottom of the wall too)

use a wet vac to suck as much water out from under the wall edge as you can both before and after the 50/50 mix

There is just enuff water to make spots on the carpet in the middle of my computer room... Nothing major yet!! but more rain predicted...
